Tiger Runs Through Paris

In a bit of weird news, a tiger was seen running through the streets of Paris! Okay, so it was a 3D projection of a tiger running through Paris, but that doesn’t make it any less cool. If you don’t believe me, you really need to check out this really awesome video set to music.

There’s something really cool about the world of projections. It’s definitely a growing industry. More theatre productions are using projections as part of big named shows like Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, Lion King, and even Wicked. They are becoming more and more an integral apart of good production value. But that’s not the only place you’ll see projections.

You can see them on the sides of buildings, at large events and trade shows, even at press conferences and sporting arenas. Projections are showing up everywhere. It only makes sense that they’re now becoming more than a facet of a production but a fully fledged piece of art in their own right.

If you’re still skeptical that a projection can be art, I really urge you to watch this video. It’s kind of breathtaking. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a TIGER running through PARIS.
