Monty Python for FREE
Listen, everyone who uses the internet probably likes to steal. Not like the daughter of Rudy Giuliani likes to steal, but let’s be serious: whether its music, movies, or just your run-of-the-mill pornography clip, the main attraction of the internet is that it’s legalized theft.
That’s pretty much all we do here, taking other people’s creativity, judging it like an overbearing parents, and propping it up on our site with snide comments and sarcastic insults to attract viewers and advertisers. Hey, it’s a living.
And the former members of Monty Python are fed up with it. That’s why they created their own Monty Python YouTube channel, which will feature tens of thousands of Monty Python clips and sketches in high-quality imagery for your FREE viewing pleasure.
This may be the closest thing Monty Python will ever have to a reunion. Following the death of member Graham Chapman in 1989, Eric Idle stated “We would only do a reunion if Chapman came back from the dead… we’re negotiating with his agent.” That was over two-decades ago, so we, the fans, can only assume that negotiations have stalled.
However, in return for offering all of their legendary, hilarious comedic video clips absolutely free, the Pythons have packed your bags for a guilt trip, demanding you “click on the links, buy (there) movies and TV shows and soften (there) pain and disgust at being ripped off all these years.”
We here at FingBing have already fallen victim to the Python’s guilting, purchasing a rare Parrot off of their web-site that allegedly boasted lovely plumage.
Unfortunately, upon delivery we discovered the animal was stone dead.
And for all you God-Fearing Catholics out there, here’s a shot of this writer’s favorite Monty Python sketch ever…
