Pringles Recall: Cheeseburger and “Taco Night”
If you’re thinking about noshing on some Pringles potato chips, think again. We’ve just gotten word of a Pringles recall on the brand’s Cheeseburger and “Taco Night” flavors (we’ve never heard of either one, but they sound delicious, making this recall all the more devastating).
Apparently, there’s some concern that the chips might be contaminated with Salmonella. It’s not actually Pringles’ fault, though – the alleged Salmonella came from hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP), a flavor booster, which was produced separately at Basic Food Flavors Inc.
Customs who bought any of the Pringles recall products can receive their choice of coupons or refunds from Procter & Gamble, which owns Pringles.
